NYFW: ALEXANDER WANG SPRING/SUMMER RTW 2015

I am literally gagging over this entire collection Alexander Wang just served us with. I mean, I will cut a bitch if it means that I get to have the entire collection in my wardrobe. I don't care that I'm a guy, just having every single piece from this collection sit in my closet would make me very happy. Now staying true to his DNA, Mr. Wang gave us a collection where sporty athleticism and sexy chic went hand in hand. Now just like I had mentioned in an earlier post the whole sporty/athletic look has become a major trend and that is exactly what we saw in this collection. The knot body-con dresses gave it such a cool and edgy element. The models looked so dangerous and sexy, like someone you would second thoughts about messing with. There were a few looks that like revamped and sexier versions of a tennis outfit with a perforated top. Not to mention the mesh elements we saw both in jackets and shoes.. Another major trend that I mentioned earlier as well. Colours were mostly monochromatic with a few punches of vitamin orange and green as well as vibrant blue thrown in there. There we even a few mini dresses that look perfect for a night out partying in the VIP room of an upscale club. And don't forget about the sneaker bags! Those bags give me life and I'm sure is something we'll be seeing on the arms of someone like Rihanna, who happened to be front row (and banging) at the show, along with Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Die Antwoord and other major celebs as well. Sharp, sleek, minimal and edgy was what it was all about.

NYFW: ALTUZARRA SPRING 2015 READY TO WEAR

If I had been at the front row at Altuzarra or even at the back row, I would have literally melted from all the heat radiating off all the hot looks. Joseph Altuzarra stated that the inspiration for his collection this season was Mia Farrow and her role as Rosemary in Rosemary's baby. And that was quite evident thanks to the picnic blanket/tablecloth print design that he used in so many looks. First of all let me just say that the said print does tend to be more along the lines of girly and cute and sometimes even tacky but Joseph used them in such away that the clothes were just oozing with sex appeal. Like the way he crafted power suits with defined shoulders gave the collection such an edgy, independent and sexy look. There were a few tops that had thin stripes paired with skirts that had bolder stripes on them which gave way for a very interesting and modern mix of prints. Colours included black, white, red, blue and few shades of brown and even a dark beige thrown into the mix. AND GURL DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THOSE SLITS. Those slits were even higher than Snoop Dogg on a Sunday afternoon (yes I just came up with that myself). even though the collection had a strong sense of sex appeal it was not the LEAST bit vulgar but overall sexy, glamorous and edgy
